An Entire Month of Easter Activites...in One Post!

We had a wonderful Easter and were lucky enough to celebrate everything great about this holiday for an entire month.....truly!

First, our church held an egg hunt with 10,000 eggs (no I didn't add too many zeros...there really was that many!) and despite the chilly weather and the CRAZY wind, everyone had a great time! Notice the scarf that Addison is wearing...it is mine and she was THRILLED I let her wear it. When I put it on her, she looked in the mirror and said, "I look like a Mommy don't I?" Oh Addison, you are growing up too quickly! I love you so much sweet girl!

A few days later, we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of hunting eggs with our friend's from the Mommy and Me group Addison and I are a part of. All of the kiddos had a blast hunting eggs and decorating cookies. The weather couldn't have been any prettier and it was so sweet to watch the kids together.

Addison has loved this swing at Mrs. Jessica's for so long and we are thankful it still holds her up!

I say all the time how blessed we are to have such wonderful friends and we are even more blessed to have wonderful friends whose families love us like their own kids! Jessica's parents (Scott and Rhonda Kennedy) hold an egg hunt each year at their house and Addison had a blast this year! I love this picture of Addison and Jess....such sweet girls!

My sweet little girl who was more concerned with the fact that the candy was melting than actually hunting for eggs (or taking a photo with her Mom)! :)

Finally...the Easter Bunny came and we had one VERY excited little girl! And just for the record, she does own "non-winter" P.J.'s but refuses to wear them! So that is why she is wearing polar bear P.J.'s on Easter morning! :)

We enjoyed a wonderful Easter service at our church with my parents and brother and headed over to my Mom and Dad's shortly after church for a yummy Easter lunch and more egg hunting!

Addison was Miss Hollywood all day and was ready to go! ;)

After too much food and definately too much sugar, we headed over to Duke's parent's house for more Easter fun and our last egg hunt of the year (Addison was a pro at this by now!)
